Deeg. Minister of State for Home Jawahar Singh Bedham gave detailed guidelines to make a meeting of district level officers in the Panchayat Samiti Auditorium on Monday to make the Rural Services Camp and Urban Services Camp (Seva Pakhwada-2025) effective. District Collector Deeg Utsav Kaushal was present in the meeting, while block level officers also joined through VC. The Minister of State for Home said that the word “Seva” has special significance and that is why it has been added to the names of these camps. The camps are not only administrative programs, but are an example of upliftment and cooperation of the society. He called for voluntary institutions and various organizations to be connected with camps.
During the meeting, he said that in the earlier Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Antyodaya Pakhwada camp, an elderly person who was earlier named Madhua got his real name Madhav Kumar. He said that it was not just a name improvement, but a unique task of returning a person’s identity and dignity. The stories of such success are the real strength of these camps.
The Minister of State for Home instructed the officials to inform the concerned personnel from house to house including Agriculture Secretary, Patwari, Principal, ANM, Village Development Officer so that the common people can deal with their work easily here. He instructed to ensure timely disposal of cases like Partition, Name Purification, Widow Pension, PM Awas Yojana.
Giving priority to cleanliness and order in the camps, he instructed to clean schools, CHC, PHC, Panchayat Committees, Anganwadi centers and public places, cleanliness and improvement of damaged roads. He instructed to activate the movable medical units, deploy two doctors in each camp by the Animal Husbandry Department, the Public Health Engineering Department to provide valves to deliver water everywhere and to fix the loose wires and change the old wires.
The Minister of State for Home said that the purpose of these camps is not only to solve the problems, but also to convey the message in the hearts of the people that the administration and administration stands with full devotion to improve the quality of their life.
