A sad news has come for Indian sailors amid the ongoing military tension in the region of West Asia. Three Indian sailors working on foreign-flagged ships have died and another has been seriously injured during the conflict. India’s Directorate General of Shipping (DGS) has officially confirmed the incident and said that the attacks took place on oil tankers near Muscat and the Strait of Hormuz. The government has issued strict instructions for the safety of Indian citizens after this incident.

Which ships were attacked and what is the latest situation?
These attacks took place on two different oil tankers which belonged to foreign companies. According to officials, these ships were attacked by drones and missiles. Indian government teams are currently in touch with the affected families and embassies have been activated to help the injured sailors.
