New Delhi, March 3 (IANS). In today’s modern and busy life, stress, anxiety or tension has become a common problem for people of all ages. The reason behind this may be different for every person, but the negative effect is almost the same.
Stress has a negative impact on a person’s physical and mental health. In view of this situation of the people, the Ministry of AYUSH of the Government of India has advised to include yoga and pranayam in daily life on daily basis.
Yoga and Pranayama are a very beneficial way to increase a person’s health, mental peace, and physical capacity. Doing one of them, Bhramari Pranayama, for some time every day gives you relief from stress and anxiety, due to which the mind experiences deep peace and relaxation.
The Ministry of AYUSH says that Bhramari Pranayama not only reduces stress and anxiety, but also takes your brain into a state of deep relaxation. Its resonant sound is no less than sweet music for your nervous system. So make it a part of your lifestyle today.
Bhramari Pranayama is an effective breathing technique in which a buzzing sound like that of a bumblebee is produced while exhaling. By doing Bhramari Pranayam regularly every day, the body gets many benefits. It relieves stress and reduces anxiety, anger and hyperactivity.
The Ministry of AYUSH said that while doing Bhramari Pranayam, the resonant effect of the sound like that of a beetle is beneficial for the brain and nervous system. This is a useful preliminary pranayama for concentration and meditation.
To do Bhramari Pranayam, wake up in the morning and sit straight in Sukhasana posture in a calm environment. After this, close your eyes and cover your ears with your thumbs. Then take a deep breath and while exhaling, keep your mouth closed and make a humming sound. It is very beneficial to practice this 5 to 7 times while sitting in Sukhasana in a calm environment.
