A very shocking incident has come to light in the ongoing war between Israel and Iran. According to reports, Iran has found a cheap and indigenous way to destroy Israel’s expensive and high-tech missiles. It is being claimed that Iran created a picture of a ‘fake helicopter’ on the ground with the help of only paint, which the satellite and missile mistook for real. In this deception, Israel attacked him, due to which his missile worth crores was wasted on a minor painting.
🗞️: Kim Jong Un’s open warning, if our people get even a scratch in Iran, war will start.
How was this ‘paint hoax’ of Iran caught?
The matter dates back to March 4, 2026, when the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) released a video. In this video, an Iranian Mi-17 helicopter was shown being targeted through a thermal camera. But when defense experts and analysts like Patricia Marins took a closer look at the video, they noticed something strange.
Experts said that after the missile hit, no rotor (fan) of that ‘helicopter’ broke nor did any big explosion occur in it, as often happens in helicopters filled with fuel. Experts say that it was actually a ‘3D Anamorphic Decoy’ made on an asphalt road. It was painted in such a way that when seen from above or through satellite cameras, it looked exactly like a real parked helicopter.
Missile worth crores fails in front of paint worth a few rupees
This incident has also sparked debate on the wastage of money in war. On one hand, there is this fake paint system of Iran, which would hardly have cost a few dollars or a little paint to make. On the other hand, the price of the precision missiles Israel used to destroy it has skyrocketed.
David’s Sling: The cost of an interceptor missile of this system is around 7 lakh to 10 lakh dollars (crores of rupees). Arrow-3: The cost of one launch is around 20 to 40 lakh dollars. F-35 Fighter Jet: The cost of flying it is approximately $ 10,000 per hour.
Iranian military sources say that this is one of their strategies to destroy the enemy’s expensive weapons through cheap means. There are also reports that Iran has also made similar fake thermal painted models of F-14 fighter jets.
The heat of the attack reached the Gulf countries
By March 6, 2026, this war has taken an even more dangerous form. On the seventh day of ‘Operation Roaring Lion’, Israel has intensified attacks on Tehran and Beirut. At the same time, its effect is now visible on the surrounding Gulf countries also.
According to the latest information, in retaliation, Iran has not only fired missiles at Tel Aviv, but has also retaliated against Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar and Bahrain. America has also jumped into this fight and the US Navy has targeted an Iranian drone carrier in the sea. This is a matter of concern for the people living in the Gulf as tension is continuously increasing.
