Etihad Airways has increased the scope of its flights from Friday. The company has included 46 more cities in its list, after which now limited flight service has started for a total of 71 places. This news is very important for Indians and other travelers living in Gulf countries who were recently troubled due to closure of airways or cancellation of flights. The airline has clarified that these flights have been given the green signal only after security checks.

Flights will be available for these countries including India
This is a big relief for travelers traveling to and from India. Etihad Airways’ new schedule includes major Indian cities like Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru. Apart from this, flights will also be available for international passengers to big cities like London, Paris, New York, Singapore, Bangkok and Sydney.
At present this limited schedule has been released from March 6 to March 19, 2026. The airline says that they are continuously monitoring the situation and a decision on further flights will be taken later. Flights have started smoothly from Zayed International Airport.
What are the rules on ticket booking and refund?
The airline has appealed to the passengers not to come directly to the airport. Go to the airport only if you have a confirmed booking or have been contacted by the airline. Passengers who already have tickets for travel till March 21 are being given the facility of refund.
If someone had booked tickets before February 28, they can change their travel date till May 15 without any extra charges. Booking of new tickets has started on the airline’s website. This will act as an ‘air bridge’ for those who want to return to their homes.
