A large procession was taken out in Siwan district of Bihar on 5 March 2026. The rally was organized in support of Iran’s supreme religious leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Starting from the Purani Qila grounds, the procession passed through the main roads of the city. During this period, the administration had made strict security arrangements so that the common people do not face any problem. A large number of people took to the streets carrying banners and posters.
What was the route and security arrangements of the rally?
This procession started from the Old Fort ground at around 2 pm. From there it reached Makhdum Sarai turn and finally ended at Gopalganj turn. Local people participated enthusiastically in the rally. According to Prabhat Khabar report, heavy deployment of police force was made along the entire route.
This program was conducted peacefully under the supervision of officials. During the procession, the police also took care of the traffic arrangements so that there is no jam in the city and the movement of the general public continues smoothly.
On what conditions did the administration give permission?
The district administration had given conditional permission to the organizers to take out the procession. Some strict rules were made by the administration which were mandatory to follow.
There was a ban on giving any kind of inflammatory speech during the procession. Raising objectionable slogans was strictly prohibited. It was asked to ensure that religious sentiments of any community are not hurt.
Officials said that the rally remained disciplined and only the fixed route was followed. In view of security, police patrolling continued even after the program was over.
