On the other hand, Iran’s government media has released some videos in which At Your Command, Sayyid Mojtaba was written on the missiles being fired at Israel. Soon after this, Israel’s army (IDF) carried out airstrikes at several places in central Iran.
Such a change happened for the first time since 1979
Under Article 111 of the Constitution of Iran, the 88-member Assembly of Experts has elected Mojtaba Khamenei. This is the first time since the 1979 revolution that a son has been made the supreme leader after the father in Iran. Senior Iranian official Ali Larijani praised the assembly’s courage in holding this meeting amid air strikes. Mojtaba Khamenei has strong support from the IRGC and Basij paramilitaries.
