Deoria. Controversy has emerged regarding the use of the word ‘Pandit’ in the UP Police Sub-Inspector Recruitment Examination, on which BJP MLA Shalabh Mani Tripathi’s reaction has come to the fore.
Speaking to he said that this is very unfortunate. As soon as I got information about this, I immediately wrote a letter to the Chief Minister’s office and brought this matter to his notice. The investigation has also started. Shalabh Mani Tripathi said that the Police Recruitment Board has given information about the investigation. This act was done intentionally. For some time now, these things are being done for a particular society with the intention of spoiling the social environment. He said that whoever is guilty will be identified and strict action will be taken.
BJP MLA Rakesh Goswami told that I came to know through social media that a question was asked in the sub-inspector recruitment exam in which the word ‘Pandit’ was used as an alternative to ‘opportunist’. This is the result of wrong mentality. A person with such thinking cannot work in the interest of the society. I have written a letter to the Chief Minister demanding investigation into this matter and action against the culprits.
BJP MLA Mahesh Trivedi told that when someone targets a particular caste or raises questions on its basis, it creates division in the society. Talking about Brahmins being opportunists, people from every class, community and religion are present everywhere. This matter should be investigated and strict action should be taken based on the findings of the investigation.
Congress spokesperson Surendra Rajput while talking to said that while accusing BJP, what is happening in Uttar Pradesh? Why are Pandits being maligned so much? From Swami Avimukteshwarananda Saraswati to now being called a bribe-taking Pandit, what is going on? This appears to be a serious crime in itself, or perhaps a conspiracy. Who is behind this? Is any faction of Bharatiya Janata Party involved in this? The truth should come out. Strict action should be taken against those who are dividing the society in the name of caste and religion and trying to gain power through such division and public accountability will be ensured.
