Rudaval (Bharatpur). A painful accident occurred on Monday in Mahalpur Chura village of Rudawal police station area. A 10-year-old boy returning home after getting mustard crushed from the field died on the spot after being run over by a tractor. After this incident, there is mourning in the entire village and the victim’s family is in bad condition.
According to the police, the work of threshing mustard was going on on the farm of lawyer Kashyap, resident of Mahalpur Chura. After the work was completed, the lawyer’s 10-year-old son Rohit happily sat on the tractor and left for home. As soon as the tractor descended from the high ridge of the field, Rohit lost his balance due to the sudden shock. Rohit jumped out of the tractor and came straight under the wheel. Being crushed under the heavy wheel, the child did not even get a chance to recover and he died on the spot. There was hue and cry on the spot after the accident. Neighboring people and family members immediately took the child to Rudaval Government Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
As soon as the information about the incident was received, Assistant Sub Inspector Jitendra Kumar of Rudawal police station reached the hospital with police personnel. The police took the body into custody and kept it in the mortuary. After necessary legal action and post-mortem, the body of the child has been handed over to the family members.
During the farming season, children often enthusiastically climb onto tractors or machines. This incident of Rudawal is a warning that making children sit on heavy moving vehicles or agricultural machinery can prove fatal.
