New Delhi, March 20 (IANS). Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said India is writing a decisive chapter in the global energy landscape, focusing on the trend towards electrification, clean energy and manufacturing.
Prime Minister Modi shared an article written by Shripad Yesso Naik, Minister of State for Power and New and Renewable Energy, in which he talked about the rapid changes taking place in India’s energy sector.
Taking to social media platform X, Prime Minister Modi said the country’s energy transition is guided by practical policy decisions and a focus on self-reliance.
He said India’s efforts to increase clean energy capacity, promote electrification and strengthen domestic manufacturing are helping it emerge as a major player in the global energy sector.
Prime Minister Modi wrote on Twitter, “Union Minister of State Shripad Naik has said that India’s energy transition is driven by practical policy and clear efforts towards self-reliance.”
Prime Minister Modi further said, “With a special focus on electrification, clean energy and manufacturing, India is writing a decisive chapter in the global energy landscape.”
