Baaghi 4 review: The Baaghi franchise has always been very special for Tiger Shroff’s career. The first film in 2016 made him an action star. After this, Baaghi 2 of 2018 broke the record at the box office and Tiger’s name was added to Bollywood’s biggest action heroes.
However, the BAAGHI 3, released in 2020 in 2020, could not win the hearts of the audience. Now after about five years, Baaghi 4 has reached theaters. But the question is whether this film has brought back the lost brightness of the franchise or not?

The story of the film is based on a defense officer named Ronnie (Tiger Shroff). Ronnie is injured in an accident and lives in a coma for seven months. When he comes to his senses, he remembers that he lost his girlfriend Alisha (Harnaz Sandhu) in that accident. But even the doctor and his brother are not ready to believe that a girl named Alisha was in her life.
Ronnie is trapped between his memories and reality. Meanwhile, in her life, dancer Olivia (Sonam Bajwa) comes, which tries to fill her loneliness. But Ronnie cannot leave the search for Alisha. The real suspense is whether Alisha was a reality or just the illusion of Ronnie.
Screenplay and direction
The first three films of the franchise were derived from South Indian films, but the story and writing of Baaghi 4 is completely reported. Producer Sajid Nadiadwala himself took responsibility for writing the story, but the result was less than expected. The screenplay is dull and the story deviates from the track at many places. In the first half, the story of Ronnie and Alisha goes on, then in the second half, suddenly Sanjay Dutt’s character Chako’s flashback begins. With this change, viewers do not get involved with the story.
Action and music
The biggest identity of the Baaghi series has always been its strong action. But this time the action newness of the film has been lost. Battle and ax scenes with goons wearing masks are now common to the audience. It seems as if the scenes of the earlier hit films are being repeated.
Talking about music, songs do not leave much effect. The song ‘Yeh Mera Husn’ filmed on Harnaz reminds the audience of the ‘shameless color’ of the film ‘Pathan’. The background score is also simple and fails to speed up the film.
