The blockbuster has completed its first week on a high note, breaking many all-time records by earning an impressive amount of over ₹600 crore across India in just seven days. The special thing is that by the morning of its second Thursday, the film had already overtaken the lifetime collection of *Stree 2*, which stood at ₹627 crore. Additionally, by the evening, it had broken the records of both *Kalki 2898 AD*—which had a lifetime domestic collection of ₹646.31 crore—and Shah Rukh Khan’s *Jawan*—which had a lifetime collection of ₹640.25 crore. Now its next target is to surpass the lifetime collection of *RRR*, which is ₹782.20 crore.
Currently, there is only one film ahead of *Dhurandhar 2* in the list of highest-grossing Bollywood films—and that is its prequel. *Dhurandhar*, which released in December, had set new benchmarks in the industry by earning ₹895 crore in India.
