The new Toyota Fortuner is expected to be launched globally in late 2026 or early 2027
Toyota Fortuner has made a mark in markets like India since its launch with its rugged design and strong road presence. Now Toyota is working on its new generation model, whose global debut may happen in late 2026 or early 2027. The biggest change will be seen in its platform.
The new Fortuner is expected to get the TNGA-F platform, which is also used in the new Toyota Hilux. This platform will be more advanced than the current model, which will improve the strength, ride quality and off-road capability of the vehicle. This 7-seater SUV can also get a big upgrade in terms of features and technology.
It can be given features like new dashboard, two large 12.3-inch screens (one for infotainment and one for driver display), connected technology, over-the-air (OTA) updates and 360-degree camera. Talking about design, the new Fortuner may look more aggressive and modern than before.

It can get sharp LED headlamps, big grill, new bumper design and new alloy wheels. At the rear, a full-width LED light bar and a large “Fortuner” badge can be seen on the tailgate. Apart from this, features like panoramic sunroof, better climate control and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) can also be added to the new model.
Currently, testing of this SUV is going on abroad, which clearly shows that its development has progressed a lot. However, the company has not yet announced the official launch date. After the global launch, it can be brought to India soon, because it is very popular here.
