On 3 April 2026, the air defense system foiled a major attack in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). According to the Defense Ministry, the missiles and drones coming from Iran were intercepted in the air. Some people, including Indian expatriates, have been injured in Ajman area due to debris falling during this action. The administration has brought the situation under control and has appealed to the people to maintain peace. This attack occurred when the UAE’s security systems had identified the incoming threats in time.
What was the impact of debris falling in Ajman and Habshan?
Abu Dhabi Media Office said the debris falling incidents occurred near Ajman and Habshan gas plants. Debris caused a fire at the Habshan Gas Facility, following which operations there had to be temporarily shut down. Officials said that relief operations were started immediately to control the fire. A total of 12 people have been injured after being hit by debris in Ajman area. The administration clarified that no one was injured due to the debris in Ajban area.
