Silver rates on MCX
Amid the ongoing tension between the two countries, both gold and silver prices saw a rise after US President Donald Trump announced a pause in attacks on Iran for two weeks. This decision has brought some relief to the market and increased investor confidence. On India’s Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), silver futures (May 2026 delivery) rose nearly 6% to ₹244,770 per kg. With this, gold for June 2026 delivery rose 2.4% to ₹153,944 per 10 grams. In the international market too, silver rose 4.3% to $76.08 an ounce. Apart from this, an increase was also recorded in the prices of platinum and palladium.
