New Delhi. There has been news about Jagdeep Dhankhar, who held this post on the day of the Vice Presidential election. The news is that the central government has offered him a 34 -number bungalow on APJ Abdul Kalam Road in Delhi to stay. The bungalow used to have former Union Minister and now Mizoram Governor VK Singh. It is not yet known whether Jagdeep Dhankhar has agreed to take this bungalow or not. Jagdeep Dhankhar is currently residing in the farm house of INLD leader Abhay Chautala.
Jagdeep Dhankhar requested the central government to allot the house. Under the rules, former President, former Vice President and former PM are given type VIII bungalow. According to media reports, the number 34 of APJ Abdul Kalam Road is of the same type of bungalow and is currently ready. If Jagdeep Dhankhar decides to stay in this bungalow, then it will be changed according to his wish. These changes include interior, curtains, colors and furniture. Jagdeep Dhankhar will have a lifetime bungalow allot. After them, the family will not be approved to stay in the government bungalow. Recently, Jagdeep Dhankhar had vacated the Vice Presidents House.
Jagdeep Dhankhar suddenly resigned from the post in the evening after running the Rajya Sabha proceedings on 21 July on the first day of the monsoon session of Parliament. He had given the reason for his resignation to health reasons. At the same time, the discussion went on that Jagdeep Dhankhar had approved the opposition’s proposal to impeach Justice Yashwant Verma. Because of which he got cold and resigned from the government. However, Jagdeep Dhankhar also thanked President and PM Narendra Modi in his resignation. Jagdeep Dhankhar has not been revealed since resigning from the post of Vice President. The opposition is constantly raising questions on this. Whereas, Home Minister Amit Shah has said that the opposition’s speculation about Dhankhar is wrong.
