Dehradun, 17 September (). On the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday, an important health initiative started across the country. The program is named ‘Healthy Women -Social Family’, which will run from 17 September to 2 October. During this time, about one lakh health camps will be organized across the country, especially adolescent girls, women and children will be provided health and nutritional services.
This campaign was also inaugurated in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. On this occasion, the Chief Minister of the state Pushkar Singh Dhami and Governor Lt Gen (retired) Gurmeet Singh greeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his birthday and praised his policies.
Governor Lieutenant General Gurmeet Singh said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a visionary leader who is rapidly advancing towards realizing the dream of making the country a developed India until 2047. It is one of their priorities to make women healthy, safe and empowered. When women are strong, family and society will also be strong. We are taking a big step in this direction.”
He appealed to everyone for active participation in this campaign and said that this initiative will form the basis of strength of family and society. Every woman should get quality health facilities and should get the right to live a respectful life.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, on behalf of the people of the state, congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his birthday, saying, “There is a special attachment of Prime Minister Modi from Uttarakhand. Many schemes have been approved for the development of Uttarakhand under his leadership. He has continued to cooperate in the overall development of Uttarakhand in the last 11 years. ‘The launch of the campaign is also an important step in this direction.”
Dhami said that the Health Department has made extensive preparations to make this campaign a success in the state. In this fortnight, which runs till October 2, all women are urged to go to health camps and conduct their investigation. He said, “When the woman is strong, then the family will be strong, the country will be strong and the state will also move firmly.”
Cabinet Minister Dhan Singh Rawat also gave detailed information about this campaign. He informed that about 2,300 health camps will be organized across the state from September 17 to October 2. More than 2 lakh people will be registered for blood donation in these camps. The goal is to participate in these free health camps. “
Dhan Singh Rawat said, “This campaign will be on a large scale in the entire state. All MPs, MLAs and local public representatives will participate actively in it.
