Yamunanagar. In the Radaur area of Yamunanagar district of Haryana, miscreants openly challenged the law and order on the intervening night of Tuesday-Wednesday. Three unidentified masked miscreants riding a Pulsar bike fired about 14-15 rounds indiscriminately at the residence of former Sarpanch Rishi Pal in Bhure Ka Majra village and fled from the spot.
The thunder of bullets echoed at midnight
According to the information, this incident happened at around 1:30 in the night. When the entire family was sleeping, the bike-riding attackers started firing bullets targeting the house. This sudden firing created panic in the village. The fortunate thing is that the bullets did not hit any member and all the family members are safe.
Police engaged in investigation and search operation
As soon as information about the incident was received, the team of Radaur police station reached the spot. Police have recovered empty shells from the spot and have started searching for the miscreants by blocking the surrounding area. The police is scanning the footage of CCTV cameras installed on the village and surrounding roads so that the attackers and their bike can be identified.
Such an attack on the house of the former Sarpanch has raised questions on the security arrangements in the area. The police is seriously investigating the matter on all aspects including rivalry.
