Churu District Collector Abhishek Surana on Wednesday interacted with the children benefited from the PM Carers (orphans from Covid-19) scheme at the District Collector Office.
On this occasion, the District Collector asked the children to proceed with great confidence. The district administration always stands with them on the need for any kind of assistance.
He said that “PM Cares Yojana” is a ray of hope for children who have lost their parents in Kovid-19 or other disasters. The scheme not only provides financial assistance, but also focuses on the overall development of children.
He inspired children to pay special attention to education, become self -sufficient and positive contribution to society.
On this occasion, he discussed with the children regarding their family’s status, assistance, education, health and standard of living, educational activities and future plans.
On this occasion, the District Collector also presented a motivational book to the children and explained the importance of books to the children and said that “Books are a true friend of the person. Books are not only a source of knowledge, but also decide the outline of the future.”
On this occasion, the children also openly expressed their views and shared their needs and aspirations.
During this, Child Empowerment Assistant Director Satyendra Pal Veer informed about the schemes of the Department of Child Empowerment.
