Britain’s Royal Family is often seen as serious, balanced and restrained. Their smile is also often ‘polite’ – without much happiness or anger. But has he ever been angry? The answer is – yes! And that anger is clearly visible on camera too.
Let’s take a look at three occasions when members of the royal family lost their cool – and the entire nation watched.
Prince William got angry at the journalist
In the year 1995, Princess Diana told B.B.C. Gave an interview to journalist Martin Bashir, in which he openly expressed his views on his marriage, mental health and Prince Charles becoming king. This interview created a stir all over the world. But an investigation (Lord Dyson Inquiry) conducted in 2021 revealed that B.B.C. And Bashir had got this interview done by cheating.
When this truth came to light, Prince William burst out in anger. “These wrongful practices have betrayed not only my mother, but the entire family and the public,” he said in a video statement. Although William’s face was calm, pain and anger could be clearly felt in his voice.
When Kate Middleton scolded Prince George
Royal children are just like any other child – and sometimes not easy to handle. In 2017, Kate Middleton attended the wedding of her sister Pippa Middleton. They also had two young children with them – Prince George (4 years) and Princess Charlotte (2 years). During the wedding, Prince George was emptying the basket of flowers, and playing with the back of Pippa’s dress.
When he did not agree after repeated interruptions, Kate lost her patience. He scolded George angrily. George burst into tears on camera – and the moment instantly went viral. This moment shows that no matter the royal family, mother’s anger is the same on everyone!
When Meghan Markle gave a befitting reply to critics
Meghan Markle, Prince Harry’s wife, has often been the target of criticism from the British media and some members of the Royal Family. But in the year 2020, at the “Fortune Most Powerful Women Summit”, she answered openly.
He said that people distort his statements and make them controversial without listening fully. “If you listen carefully to what I’m actually saying, there’s nothing controversial about it,” Meghan said. It was a reflection of his confidence and strength – and it was a form of anger that was quiet but sharp.
The real feelings hidden behind the royal glow
The Royal Family is often held up to the ideal image – smiling, calm and in control. But these three incidents showed that they too can get angry, upset and express their feelings like normal humans.
