Our skin contains sebum which provides elasticity and softness to the skin. The amount of sebum depends on the skin type. It is less in dry skin and more in oily skin. When its quantity in our skin becomes excessive then the pores of the skin get clogged. Due to which we get acne on our face and have to face many other skin related problems. If your skin is also oily then we are telling you some measures with the help of which you can take proper care of your oily skin.
1. Use a mild soap and lukewarm water to remove excess oil from your skin. Do not rub the face with anything to clean it as it will be harmful for the soft skin of the face. Use a mild cleanser to clean the face.
2. The elements present in raw milk are capable of reducing oily substances from oily skin. For this, mix sandalwood in raw milk and apply it on the skin and wash it after it dries. To remove spots and blemishes from oily skin, mix gram flour, turmeric and saffron in raw milk and apply it on the face daily. The spots and blemishes will go away. Apart from this, by mixing lemon juice in raw milk, it can also be used as a cleanser.
3. Fruits affect our health as well as our appearance. These are also good means for skin care. Vitamin C is found in abundance in strawberries which is useful for the skin. Along with removing dead skin cells, it keeps the skin safe from pimples and acne by removing excess oil from the skin. Grind its pulp and make a paste and apply it on the face. Wash it with plain water after 20 minutes. Use this pack every week.
4. We all know about the benefits of water, but very few people know that ice is also helpful in skin care. Ice cubes cool the skin and close the open pores, making the skin less oily. While using ice cube, we have to be careful that wrap it in a clean cloth and apply it on the face and do not rub it.
5. If your skin is oily then prepare a paste by mixing sandalwood powder in rose water. Apply it on the face and leave it for half an hour. After half an hour wash the face with normal water. With its regular use, excess oil from the face will be eliminated.
6. Due to excessive sweating on oily skin in summer, the pores open which increases skin related problems, hence use scrub to remove oil from the pores of the skin.
7. People with oily skin have smooth and shiny skin. The pores become larger which causes skin related problems. To prevent this, one should consume yellow fruits like orange, mango, tomato, papaya etc. because they contain Vitamin C and A in abundance.
