Chandigarh. Impressed by the working style of Haryana Energy, Transport and Labor Minister Anil Vij, Sarpanch Sukhjinder Singh of village Panjokhara Sahib of Ambala Cantonment Assembly constituency and Sarpanch Kawaljit Singh of village Barnala left Congress and joined Bharatiya Janata Party. Minister Anil Vij, who reached the residence of Energy Minister Anil, welcomed both the sarpanches into the party by wearing them with Bharatiya Janata Party patkas respectfully. He called upon both the Sarpanches to actively participate in party activities and do better work in the interest of society. Sarpanch Sukhjinder Singh and Sarpanch Kawaljit Singh, who joined BJP, said that they are extremely impressed by the working style of Energy Minister Anil Vij and that is why they have joined the party. He said that Minister Anil Vij has increased the development in the entire Ambala Cantonment at a rapid pace and the public is getting the benefits.
On this occasion, rural division in-charge Kiranpal Chauhan, president Vikas Bahgal, senior BJP leader Randhir Singh and others were also present.
