New information has now been revealed about Nepal’s overthrow Prime Minister KP Oli. Oli has now moved away from military security to a private residence. Oli spent nine days in military security.
It is reported that the disorganized Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli spent nine days in military security. Now he has been sent to his private residence. Oli resigned as Prime Minister on 9 September after the protests led by Jane-Z. led to violent protests. He immediately moved to a military barrack. It is believed that this barrack is in the Shivpuri forest area north of Kathmandu. The Nepal Army has confirmed that after nine -day military security, Nepal Communist Party President and Osdast Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has been transferred to a private place.
Current address unknown
However, there is no information about the current address of KP Sharma Oli. His new address has not yet been officially announced. Media reports claimed that Oli has gone to live in a private house in Gundu area of Bhaktapur district, about 15 km east of Kathmandu.
Protesters burnt Oli’s house
Genzi protests began on 8 September. The very next day, the protesters burnt Oli’s house in Balakot, Bhaktapur. According to reports, not only Oli, but former Nepali Prime Minister Pushp Kamal Dahal “Prachanda”, Sher Bahadur Deuba, Jhalnath Khanal, Madhav Kumar Nepal and other senior political personalities have also taken refuge in military security for a few days. It is reported that only Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba and his wife, former Foreign Minister Arju Rana Deuba are in military security. The couple suffered injuries during the protest.
Oli’s party is preparing to celebrate Constitution Day on 19 September.
Meanwhile, Oli-led CPN-UML is organizing a separate program in Chial in Lalitpur district to celebrate Constitution Day on 19 September. However, no official information is available about whether KP Sharma Oli will join it or not. This year, the Constitution Day in Nepal will be celebrated on Ashoj 3 of Vikram Samvat. It falls on 19 September. The constitution of the country will be applicable on 20 September, the draft of which was prepared by the Constituent Assembly in 2015.
