Chamoli, May 15 (IANS). Garhwal MP Anil Baluni presided over the meeting of the District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee held in the Collectorate Auditorium on Friday. During this, he did a detailed review of centrally funded schemes. In the meeting, the progress of the schemes run by various departments was reviewed.
During the review, the MP instructed the officials that all the departments should work with mutual coordination. Also, ensure effective implementation of the schemes, so that their benefits reach the common people directly.
Laying special emphasis on quick resolution of public problems, MP Baluni said that officials should take the complaints of common people seriously and resolve them on priority basis. He made it clear that such meetings would be held regularly to monitor the progress of the development plans.
Talking to the media after the meeting, the MP said that all the key officials of the district and officials of various departments were present in the meeting held today. There was a detailed discussion with everyone. Instructions have been given in the meeting that in the coming time, the works should be implemented rapidly and the problems of the people should be resolved quickly. He further said that a meeting will be held again within the next two to three months, in which the instructions given in the current meeting will be reviewed and progress will be assessed.
MP Anil Baluni wrote in a post on social media platform All schemes should be completed with quality and transparency within the stipulated time frame, so that the benefits of development can effectively reach the last mile.”
