New Delhi, May 21 (). The matter of indecent remarks made by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on PM Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah has reached the police station. Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha’s Delhi state spokesperson Abhishek Dubey lodged a complaint in Tigri police station area of Delhi, demanding action by registering an FIR against Rahul Gandhi.
The complaint states that during a public program on May 20, Rahul Gandhi used objectionable and indecent words against the country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. The complainant alleges that using such language on a public platform is against democratic norms.
It has also been said in the complaint that such remarks against any person holding any constitutional post or senior leaders of the country not only hurt their dignity but also increase the possibility of spreading tension and disharmony in the society. Abhishek Dubey says that it is very important to maintain the dignity of language in public life, so that the political environment remains balanced and peaceful.
In his complaint, he has demanded from the police that this entire matter should be investigated seriously and an FIR should be registered under the Indian Justice Code (BNS) and other relevant legal sections. It has also been said that such action is necessary, so that in future no one avoids using such language on a public platform.
The complaint also mentions that such statements send a wrong message to the society and can increase political bitterness among the common people, hence immediate and strict action is needed in this matter.
