Dehradun. Chief Electoral Officer Dr.B.V.R. In view of the upcoming Special Intensive Review Campaign (SIR) on Thursday, under the chairmanship of C. Purushottam, a meeting was organized through video conference with the District Magistrates, EROs, AEROs of all the districts in the Secretariat.
In the meeting, the Chief Electoral Officer took detailed information about the preparations and training of all the districts regarding SIR. In the meeting, the Chief Electoral Officer directed that in the districts where Booth Level Agent (BLA) has not been deployed 100%, the District Magistrate should immediately hold a meeting with the political parties in this regard and get the BLA deployed. Apart from this, where BLA has been deployed, training of BLA should also be ensured. Chief Electoral Officer Dr. Purushottam directed that in the districts where there are large residential societies, rosters should be prepared for setting up camps by appointing nodal officers. He directed that during house to house visit, BLO should compulsorily go to the area wearing the ID card of ECI.
A detailed presentation of the training module was also made in the meeting. In the meeting, the Chief Electoral Officer also took feedback on the printing, logistics and distribution plan of the counting forms of all the districts.
During this period, Additional Chief Electoral Officer Dr. Vijay Kumar Jogdande, Joint Chief Electoral Officer Mr. Prakash Chandra Dumka, Deputy Chief Electoral Officer Mr. Kishan Singh Negi, Assistant Chief Electoral Officer Mr. Mastu Das and District Magistrates of all the districts remained connected virtually.
