Patna, May 28 (IANS). JDU leader Rajiv Ranjan Prasad targeted Congress over the attack on ED officials in Kerala. Speaking to IANS, he said that when Congress is in opposition, such behavior is seen many times. The misbehavior with ED officials is a major administrative failure in the Congress-led UDF government.
Rajiv Ranjan Prasad further said that strictest action should be ensured against the officials responsible in this matter and those who have perpetrated the anarchy.
Regarding the cancellation of the bail of Giribala Singh in Bhopal’s famous Twisha Sharma death case, he said that this is a heart-wrenching incident. The MP government has adopted a very strong and honest attitude in this entire episode. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta was very active in this entire matter. The family members have got the first measure of justice in the Twisha case.
Regarding the video of Kirtan in Taj Mahal going viral, he said that Taj Mahal is the pride and pride of India. Tourists from all over the world come to Agra to see the Taj Mahal as a heritage. This is a very serious mistake. There is a deep question on the functioning of ASI. This entire episode should be investigated seriously.
Regarding SIR, Rajiv Ranjan Prasad said that it is a historic decision of the Supreme Court. I think this decision is a complete solution considering the extent to which the opposition was attacking the issue of SIR across the country. Now there should be no scope for any kind of opposition or misleading people on SIR.
On Congress’ claim regarding ‘India’ alliance, he said that Congress is making claim about Rahul Gandhi, but I think how can Congress take a decision without taking Mamata Banerjee, Akhilesh Yadav and Left leaders into confidence? He said that many statements have come from time to time. Congress has expertise in fighting elections against each other. He fielded candidates against TMC in Bengal. I believe that there is no consensus anywhere regarding the acceptability of Samajwadi Party, Aam Aadmi Party, TMC or Left Rahul Gandhi.
On Prashant Kishor’s preparation to contest elections from Bankipur, Rajiv Ranjan Prasad said that BJP used to win the elections from Bankipur. Now, under the leadership of PM Modi, there has been amazing expansion of BJP and NDA family in the entire country. Whether Prashant Kishor contests in Bankipur or any leader of Jansuraj contests, it will not be very easy for him to save the bail.
