MP Royal Family Firing: The ongoing family dispute in the former royal family of Nagod located in Satna district of Madhya Pradesh has now turned into a bloody conflict. During a dispute in Parsamania Garhi, a woman opened fire with a licensed rifle, in which Yogita Singh, the daughter-in-law of the royal family, was seriously injured. There was panic in the area after the incident and the injured woman was immediately taken to the hospital. Yogita Singh is the wife of Rupendra Singh alias Baba Raja. Police have registered an FIR in the matter and started investigation and efforts are being made to find out the real reason behind the incident.
Treatment in hospital, condition stable.
After being shot, Yogita Singh was first taken to a hospital in Satna. Seeing his critical condition, he was later referred to a private hospital in Rewa, where he underwent surgery. According to doctors, the operation has been successful and his condition is currently stable, although he is currently kept under medical observation.
Had gone to ancestral home with son and brother
According to the complaint lodged, Yogita Singh had reached her ancestral home in Parasamnia along with her son Prithudev Singh and brother Nagendra Singh Rathore. He alleges that Sunita Parihar, who lives there, started abusing him as soon as she saw him and asked him to leave the house. According to Yogita, when she refused to leave from there, Sunita Parihar threatened to kill her and fired a shot from the rifle. One bullet hit him on the left side of his stomach. He also alleged that his son was also targeted by the firing.
There was a dispute earlier also
Yogita Singh has said in her complaint that the accused woman had already assaulted her. Family members allege that this time too the accused fired not just one but several rounds. Yogita’s mother Narendra Kumari told local media that Sunita Parihar fired several bullets continuously through the window, causing panic among the family members.
Accused arrested, weapon recovered
Satna Superintendent of Police Hansraj Singh said that the accused woman Sunita Parihar has been arrested. The police has also recovered the licensed rifle used in the incident. The weapon is being examined and all aspects related to the case are being investigated. It is noteworthy that Nagod princely state was established in the year 1478 by Parihar Rajputs. Later in the year 1950 it merged with the Indian Union. Historically, this princely state was also known by the name Unchehra till the 18th century.
