Ranchi: Keeping in mind the health of people associated with the media industry and better medical benefits for their families, ‘Media Privilege Card’ was unveiled by ‘Anveshna Medical Education’ and Manipal Hospital at Hotel BNR Chanakya, Ranchi.
In the program, robotic surgeon Dr. Abhay Kumar and cardiologist Dr. Dhananjay Kumar gave important information related to modern medical techniques, health awareness and lifestyle to the media representatives. On this occasion, Dr. Abhay Kumar said that people associated with the media sector should not only be aware of diseases and their treatment, but also be aware of the new technologies developing in the medical field.

Expressing concern over the increasing number of heart diseases at young age, he said that if a person gets serious heart disease at the age of 30 to 40 years, it affects the entire family. ‘Media Privilege Card’ was unveiled during the programme. Through this card, media persons and their family members will get special benefits of up to 25 percent on various health services at all the centers of Manipal Hospital across the country.
Apart from this, it was also announced that such students from families associated with the media sector who are studying in courses related to medical education will be provided all possible support from Manipal Hospital and Anveshna Medical Education to pursue their professional career. Many patients also shared their experiences in the program and gave information about the benefits received from modern medical facilities. The media representatives present described this initiative as a positive step related to health awareness and social concerns.
