New Delhi, June 20 (IANS). Political statements have come to light regarding the re-examination of NEET (UG) and the preparations related to it. On the issue of transparency and prevention of cheating in examinations, central and state level leaders have responded to the government’s arrangements and strictness.
BJP MP Pradeep Kumar Singh, while talking to journalists, said that it is the priority of the government to make the examination system completely transparent and fair. There should be no scope for any kind of irregularities or complaints in an important examination like NEET. The government has taken several stringent steps to keep the examination process clean and ensure transparency, so that the confidence of the students remains intact.
Responding on the same issue, Union Minister of State Raj Bhushan Chaudhary said that the government under the leadership of the Prime Minister is very sensitive regarding the examination system. Constant monitoring is being done and systems are being strengthened to prevent incidents like copying and paper leaks.
Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav said that the Education Minister is constantly monitoring the situation and the government is completely alert. He also extended best wishes to the students going to take the examination and said that work is going on towards making the system more reliable.
Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma termed the nationwide mega mock drill organized by NTA as a positive step. He said that the biggest mark of a transparent governance system is that the examinations and their results should be conducted in a fair manner. He also added that if any irregularities or irregularities are found at any level, strict action will be taken against the culprits.
Let us inform that to make the re-exam of NEET-UG 2026 completely safe and transparent, the National Testing Agency (NTA) started a nationwide mock drill on Saturday. This special exercise has been organized with the aim of finalizing the preparations before the re-exam to be held on Sunday, June 21.
This mock drill, which started at 9 am, will continue till late evening. According to officials, more than 2.5 lakh security personnel are participating in this exercise at examination centers across the country. All the scheduled examination centers have already been handed over to the control of NTA.
To ensure fairness and security of the examination, this time a three-tier security system has been implemented at every centre. Its purpose is to completely eliminate the possibility of incidents like any kind of irregularities, copying or paper leaks.
Under the security arrangements, paramilitary force personnel will be responsible for transportation, storage and security of question papers and answer sheets. Apart from this, more than 5,000 examination centers across the country will be continuously monitored through CCTV cameras. A large number of security personnel have also been deployed.
