Pali, June 20 (IANS). Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on Saturday inspected the rural service camp organized at Government Higher Secondary School, Netra, Sumerpur in Pali district. During this, he visited the stalls set up by various departments, interacted directly with the beneficiaries and took feedback about the facilities being provided in the camp. The Chief Minister distributed leases to the eligible needy and also provided them the benefits of various government schemes.
Chief Minister Sharma said that the state government is organizing rural and urban service camps across the state with the aim of providing relief to the common people. Through these camps, the benefits of government schemes are being extended to farmers, laborers, poor, disabled, women and other needy sections of the society. He said that purification of documents and disposal of pending cases is paving the way for eligible people to get the benefits of the schemes.
He said that many important works are being done in the camps including name purification, name transfer, resolution of disputes related to roads, disposal of National Food Security Act (NFSA) cases, pension verification. Apart from this, soil testing, seed minikits and saplings of fruit trees are being provided to the farmers, which will help in increasing agricultural production and income.
The Chief Minister also mentioned the schemes of the Medical and Health Department and said that the villagers are getting the benefits of health services through camps. Apart from this, facilities for health checkup and treatment of animals are also being provided to the animal farmers. He appealed to the villagers to become aware and take maximum benefit of these camps.
Giving the example of correction in the name of a farmer, the Chief Minister said that his name was recorded as ‘Ott Singh’ in the Jamabandi, whereas in other documents his name was ‘Arjun Singh’. Due to this error he was not able to avail the benefits of schemes like Kisan Samman Nidhi. After the name correction in the camp, now he will be able to avail the benefits of all the eligible schemes.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister distributed pattas under Vimukt, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic category to Hazaram, Bhairaram and Mangilal. At the same time, certificates of regularization of the old house were handed over to Aju Devi and certificates of allotment of lease at concessional rate to Kapuram.
