Makhana, also known as Shial, is a superfood for fasting. It is rich in protein, fiber and many essential minerals. It is light and stomach filling, which keeps your stomach full for a long time. But do you know that its benefits can be increased further by mixing Makhane with certain materials? Today we are telling you five such things that you can get a lot of energy throughout the day by mixing with makhana and can save you from appearing.

Makhana and Dry Fruits Mix

Fry the makhana in ghee and add roasted peanuts, almonds, walnuts and raisins to it. For delicious breakfast, you can also add a little Sindhav salt and pepper to it, or make laddus by mixing it with dates and jaggery. This mixture provides energy immediately and helps reduce appetite.

Makhana and Dahi Licking

It is a light, delicious and stomach filled option. Fry the makhana until crisp in ghee. Whisk curd in a bowl and add Sindhav salt, pepper and roasted cumin powder to it. Add roasted makhana, chopped potatoes (boiled), cucumber and tomatoes and mix. Add green coriander and pomegranate seeds on top. This chaat will keep you hydrated and nurtured.

Makhana kheer

This is a great option for sweet food enthusiasts. Fry the makhana lightly and boil it in milk. Add a little sugar or honey and cardamom powder as per taste. Decorate with chopped almonds, pistachios and raisins. It is a great mixture of kheer protein and carbohydrates, which helps to maintain energy.

Makhana and Fruit

If you want to eat something light and fresh, mix the makhana with fruits. Mix the roasted makhana with a bowl of chopped fruits like banana, apple, papaya and pomegranate. If you want, you can also add some honey. This mixture is rich in fiber and vitamins, which also helps in digestion.

Makhana and Paneer

This mixture rich in protein is very beneficial for fast. Heat ghee in a pan, add small pieces of makhana and cheese and fry it lightly. Add rock salt and pepper to it. This breakfast will keep you full for a long time and will also make your muscles strong.
