Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday called for fulfilling the vision of self -reliant India and said that India is strengthening its position and will no longer accept to depend on other countries for its development.
In fact, Prime Minister Modi addressed a public meeting after inaugurating the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show-2025. He said that at a time when the whole world is facing global disruption, the countries are “compromising” with their development depending on others for their development.
PM Modi said, “Disintegration does not wander us; we also find new opportunities in that situation. India is strengthening its foundation for the coming decade through self -reliance. In this changing times, if the country depends on others, they will compromise their growth.”
Recalling Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay on his birth anniversary, the Prime Minister said, “He showed us the path of Antyodaya, which means that even the person standing at the end of the row to reach development; through this the message of social justice was given. India is showing this development to the whole world.”
Prime Minister Modi said that through some historical initiatives in the Fintech region, India is witnessing “Forum for all, progress for all”.
He said, “Our Fintech region has strengthened inclusive growth. The open platforms we have made are inclusive for all. UPI, Aadhaar, all these initiatives. Its effect is visible everywhere, whether shopping in the mall or a tea seller, they are using UPI.”
Prime Minister Modi also appreciated the progress of Uttar Pradesh in the manufacturing sector and said that 55 percent mobile phones are made in Uttar Pradesh.
He said, “55% of all mobile phones made in India are made in UP. UP semiconductor will strengthen India’s self-sufficiency … Our forces want to reduce our dependence on other countries. We are developing a vibrant defense sector in India. Very soon, in the factory established with the help of Russia, we will start manufacturing AK-203 rifles.
It is worth noting that this trade fair will be held from 25 to 29 September under the theme “Param Sourcing starts from here”.
It will have three main objectives: innovation, integration and internationalization. A three-dimensional buyer strategy will target international buyers, domestic business-to-business (B2B) buyers and domestic business-to-consumer (B2C) buyers, which will provide equal opportunities to exporters, small businesses and consumers, all. “
UPITS-2025 will display the state’s diverse craft traditions, modern industries, strong MSMEs and emerging entrepreneurs on the same platform. It will represent handicrafts, textiles, leather, agriculture, food processing, IT, electronics, AYUSH etc. In this, the rich art, culture and cuisine of Uttar Pradesh will also be displayed on the same platform.
Russia will participate as a partner country, which will open new avenues of bilateral trade, technology exchange and long-term cooperation and will increase strategic importance. More than 2,400 exhibitors, 1,25,000 B2B visitors and 4,50,000 B2C visitors will participate in this trade fair.
