Jyotirmayee Nayak, resident of Odisha, has won the trophy of Indian Idol 16.
Jyotirmayee Nayak has won the show leaving behind Tanishk Shukla of Jabalpur. Jyotirmayee Nayak has also received prize money of Rs 20 lakh along with the trophy. After becoming the winner, tears welled up in his eyes. Due to the victory of Jyotirmayi Nayak, there is a lot of celebration among his family as well as fans.
When the show host Aditya Narayan announced that Jyotirmoyee Nayak had become the winner, she became emotional. He praised Lord Jagannath after receiving the trophy and a check of Rs 20 lakh. Along with this, Tanishk Shukla remained the runner-up. Jyotirmoyee Nayak gave the credit of her victory to the cancer patients whom she cured through her music therapy.
