Bareilly. Police have arrested 8 people including Maulana Tauqir Raza in connection with the disturbance on Friday in Bareilly, UP. Whereas, 39 miscreants are in custody. The court has sent Maulana Tauqir Raza to jail for 14 days judicial custody. Police have so far registered 10 FIRs in connection with the disturbance in Bareilly. Maulana Tauqir Raza is named in 7 FIRs. 24 people are named in the nuisance. Whereas, 2000 unknown is said by the police in the FIR. According to the police, weapons have also been recovered from the place where there was a disturbance in Bareilly on Friday. Maulana Tauqir is the head of Raza Ittehad-e-Millat Council. In the case of I Love Mohammed, Tauqir Raza announced a performance in Bareilly on Friday. After which there was a disturbance after the prayers of Jumme.
In Bareilly, DM Avinash Singh said in this case that Maulana Tauqir Raza had asked people to come to Islamia campus. Whereas, the police had told them that Section 163 of BNS has been imposed to not allow the mob to gather. According to DM, a person named Nadeem came to him three days ago. A day later, Maulana Tauqir Raza also came. According to the DM of Bareilly, Maulana Tauqir Raza was told that if the program was done without approval, there could be a problem. Then he had talked about deciding this.

The DM said that the first administration was given a paper signed with Nadeem and Nafees. He was then denied through social media on Friday morning. Most of the people also went away after offering prayers. Then some people fought. Earlier, DIG AK Sahni had said that the mob vandalized. Police also firing in Shyamganj. 22 policemen were injured in the disturbance.
