MG’s Astor, Heter and Gloster SUV can be saved up to Rs 3,04,000 and it will be applicable from September 7, 2025
JSW MG Motor India has reported that it will reach its ICE SUV (Petrol/Diesel) portfolio customers recently the recently reduced GST rates. After this decision, implemented from 7 September 2025, popular models such as Ester, Hectare and Gloster have become cheaper now. According to models and variants, their prices have been reduced from Rs 54,000 to Rs 3.04 lakh.
The GST Council’s decision to reduce GST from 50 per cent (including cess) on SUV to 40 per cent has created a new momentum in the auto sector. In this way, SUV buyers will get tremendous benefit before the festive season. The company says that the government’s reduction in GST rates is a commendable step. This not only makes vehicles more economical for car buyers, but also promotes positive consumer spirit in the automobile sector.

The MG ester has more than 50 built-in safety features, 14 Adas functionalities, ventilated front seats, wireless phone integration, auto-demolition IRVM and I-Smart 2.0 interfaces that provide more than 80 connected features. The midsize SUV made its debut in India at the end of 2021 and is one of the most features offers in its segment.

The MG Gloster SUV includes panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, driving modes, electronic parking brakes, front ventilated seats and more including off-road mode. The MG Gloster is powered by a 2.0-liter twin-turbo inline four-cylinder diesel engine, which produces 212 bhp power and 500 Nm peak torque. This engine is equipped with an 8-speed automatic gearbox. It is available in 4 × 2 and 4 × 4 driving options.
Apart from giving GST benefits, MG Motor India is also offering 100% on-road funding and 3 months EMI holiday to its customers.
