Kota/Jaipur. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma said that the festival of Vijayadashami is a celebration of the victory of religion over untruth and religion over unrighteousness. Sharma addressed the common man at the 132nd National Dussehra fair held in the dignified presence of Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla in Kota on Thursday. He said that this fair is famous for its grandeur and historical importance all over India. This fair also holds a special place in the hearts of tourists and devotees coming from India and abroad. He said that this fair is a unique confluence of religious faith, cultural events, entertainment and folk traditions. He said that this time our craftsmen and artisans are also seeing new enthusiasm as the central government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reduced the GST rate on various handicrafts products from 12 percent to 5 percent under GST reforms. These GST reforms have also doubled the happiness of the common man in the festive season this time. He said that we should take a pledge to adopt indigenous products to strengthen and empower the state and assimilate the mantra of Vocal Four Local.

Sharma said that Lord Shri Ram established the Ramrajya by ending evils like Ravana. In the Ram Rajya, the concept of habitat of happiness and prosperity in society and the benefit of reaching the last person of society lies. He said that the state government, considering the male as Narayan and Din as deities, has worked to bring positive changes in the lives of women, youth, farmers and poor during his tenure. The state government has also done remarkable work for women safety and women empowerment. Also, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay poverty -free village scheme is being started and BPL families of 10 thousand villages are being brought over the poverty line.
