Strengthening the spirit of respect for maternal power, CM Yogi worshiped the girl on Wednesday on the Mahanavami date of Sharadiya Navratri according to the tradition of Gorakshpeeth. In the Kanya Pujan program organized at Gorakhnath Temple, Gorakshpeethadheeshwar performed the feet of the nine Durga Swaroopa virgin girls, worshiped them with the law, took away the blessings by giving them a gift, offering dakshina and gifts. The Chief Minister also performed Batuk Pujan while discharging the tradition.
On Wednesday, Chief Minister and Gorakshapeethadhishwar Yogi Adityanath washed the feet of nine little girls with water in brass plane in the dining room on the first floor of the grain area of the temple. Amidst the chanting of Durga Saptashati, put a tilak of roli, sandalwood, curd, akshat etc. on her forehead. He anointed Pushp and Durva. Wearing a garland, wearing chunari, gifts and Dakshina took blessings. During this time, he also took blessings of a six -month -old girl and worshiped. The Chief Minister also applied tilak to a child disguised as Hanumanji and wearing a garland and covered his cord. After the puja, the fresh food offered in the kitchen of the girls and the batuks was served by CM Yogi with his hands. Apart from nine girls, the Chief Minister also performed aarti by worshiping girls and batuks. Everyone was given a gift and Dakshina by offering devotional food.
The Chief Minister, who served food with his hands to the girls and batukas, was being seen by the Chief Minister to get the love of his Maharaj ji (CM Yogi Adityanath). With the sense of hospitality and affection, the Chief Minister performed the feet of nine girls and Batuk Bhairav one by one and worshiped. During this time, these girls appeared quite cheerful due to getting Dakshina at the hands of CM Yogi. After worshiping, the CM continued to communicate continuously while serving food to the girls and batuks with his own hands. They also kept in mind that there should be no shortage of offerings in any child’s plate. Regarding this, he kept directing the people associated with the temple system.
During the Kanya Pujan, the head priest of Gorakhnath temple, Yogi Kamal Nath, Jagadguru Swami Santoshcharya Satua Baba, who came from Kashi, were present. CM Yogi worshiped the mother Siddhidatri in the Shaktipeeth of the temple in the morning session of the morning before the girl’s worship.
