Nashik, 4 October (). Life has been disturbed since the recent heavy rains in many districts of Maharashtra. Meanwhile, the police has also come forward to help the people.

The Nashik Rural Police Force in Nashik has handed over an amount of five lakh rupees to the state government. This amount was handed over to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on behalf of Nashik Superintendent of Police Balasaheb Patil on Saturday under the Social Responsibility Fund.

Explain that due to heavy rains and floods in different parts of the state, farmers and livestock have suffered extensive losses. In this difficult time, the Nashik Rural Police Force not only performed its duty in odd circumstances, but also showed social responsibility.

This fund was collected with the voluntary contribution of officers and employees of Nashik Rural Police to express gratitude to the farmers and to help the people affected by the disaster.

During the program held in Mumbai, Superintendent of Police Balasaheb Patil handed over this amount to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. The Chief Minister appreciated this social initiative of Nashik Rural Police Force and the responsibility played during the disaster. This fund will be used for relief and rehabilitation works in flood -affected areas of the state.

Earlier, Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde had said that all people should go to the flood affected area. Flood victims still need help. They have a big crisis. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is always standing with farmers. Whatever help from the central and state government will be given to the farmers. He also said that no one should do politics by going there.

Eknath Shinde further said that our ministers, MPs and MLAs have decided to pay their one month’s salary to the people there. All people should contribute their own. The government is standing with the donors.
