Lucknow, Amrit Vichar. The traditional Holi procession from Chowpatiya is completing its 52nd year this year. This procession is taken out by the Shubh Sanskar Committee.
Secretary of Shubh Sanskar Committee, Riddhi Kishore Gaur said that this year too, Holi procession will take place from Chowpatiya with Ganga Jamuna culture. He told that Holi of flowers will be played with the fasting people in the procession.
Shubh Sanskar Committee President Laxmikant Pandey said that this time on March 4, the procession will start from Kakkar Park Chowpatiya at 9:30 am. Riddhi Kishore Gaur told that the holy month of Ramzan is also going on. 70 percent of the procession comes from Muslim areas, so as usual, Holi of flowers will be played with employment.
Vice President Ashish Aggarwal said that the procession from Chaupatia will reach the Chowk via Bholenath Well, Akbari Gate, Victoria Street, Medical Square. The procession will end at Chowpatiya via Hardoi Road.
He told that people of Muslim community will be welcomed at various places. Former Deputy Chief Minister and Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Dinesh Sharma and MLA Neeraj Bora will mainly be present in the procession.
