Once God was in a dilemma. Whenever any person is in trouble, he comes running to me. He just starts telling me his problems. He never comes to me and talks about his happiness or his satisfaction. He starts demanding something or the other from me. To solve this problem, God called a meeting of the gods and said – “O Gods, I am in trouble by creating man. Some man keeps complaining all the time, whereas I am giving him everything according to his karma. Yet he comes to me even in a little trouble, due to which neither I can live anywhere peacefully. Nor can I do sadhana by remaining in the eternal form. Please tell me a place where a creature called man can never reach.”
Respecting the thoughts of the Lord, the gods started expressing their views. Ganesh ji said- “You go to the top of the Himalayan Mountains.” God said- “This place is within the reach of man.” It won’t take him long to get there. Indradev advised – “You should go to some ocean.” Varun Dev said- “You go to space.”-Satish Kumar Garg
God said- “One day man will definitely reach there.” God was beginning to feel disappointed. He started thinking in his mind – “Is there no secret place for me where I can live peacefully?” At last Surya Dev said – “Lord! You do such a thing that you sit in the heart of man. Man will always be entangled in searching for you in many places, because man looks at the outside nature. He looks at others and never looks inside his own heart, hence he will never look for you here. There will be only one among millions who will look for you in his heart. He will not be able to complain to you, because his external will power will have ended.”
God liked what Sun God said. He did the same and God sat in the heart of man forever. Since that day, man has been searching for God in temples, mountains, caves, above, below, in the sky, in the underworld to express his sorrow, but he is not able to find him. But man never tries to find God within himself. That is why man is unable to see God sitting in the ‘temple of the heart’ and goes from door to door in search of God but is unable to open the door of his heart and see Him. To see God sitting in the temple of the heart, it is very necessary for the door of the mind to be closed, because the door of the mind is open towards the world and is closed towards the temple of the heart.
