Lucknow, Amrit Views: Cleanliness work has been started on Thursday at Chhath Puja Ghat of Bandhuwa Talab located in Sarojini Nagar second ward. All laborers have been installed by the councilor to extract hyacinth from the pond, so that clean water and clean ghats can be available to the devotees on the upcoming Chhath Mahaparva. Councilor Ramnaresh Rawat said that for the convenience of the devotees, a new ghat along the pond will also be started from next week.
He said that Chhath Mahaparva is associated with the faith and tradition of the region, so preparations are being done in time for any kind of inconvenience to the devotees. With the blessings of MLA Rajeshwar Singh and Mayor Sushma Kharkwal, this work is being done under his supervision. The councilor assured that all the cleaning and construction works will be completed till Chhath Puja, so that the devotees can get smoothness and clean environment.
