It is believed that performing some special puja daily pleases Goddess Lakshmi, which brings happiness, peace and prosperity in life. According to Vastu, Goddess Lakshmi is pleased by worshiping the Tulsi plant daily at home and offering a pot of water to it. While offering water to the Tulsi plant, one should chant Lord Vishnu’s mantra “Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya”. It is believed that by doing this one gets the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi as well as Lord Vishnu.
According to Vastu, after taking bath in the morning, one should fill water in a copper vessel, put flowers or similar things in it and offer Arghya to the rising sun. It is believed that doing this pleases Goddess Lakshmi and gives good health.
According to Vastu, to please Goddess Lakshmi, the main gate of the house should be cleaned daily. A ghee lamp should be lit at the main gate in the evening.

To remove Vaastu defects, the floor of the house should be mopped with salt water daily. It is believed that doing this pleases Goddess Lakshmi.
