Thinking will change through awareness messages
The committee suggested that big posters should be put up at Bhandara sites, carrying messages of cleanliness and responsibility. Messages like “True devotion to Hanuman ji lies in cleanliness” and “Take only as much as you can in the plate, which does not go into the drain” will motivate people and also prevent wastage of food.
Improvement will come through awareness, inspection and competition
Area-wise awareness camps will be organized by the Municipal Corporation, so that the organizers can be informed about these guidelines. Along with this, wide publicity will be done through social media and other mediums. “Adarsh Bhandara” competition will also be organized in different areas of the city.
Collective responsibility for clean Lucknow
Lucknow Municipal Corporation has appealed that cleanliness is not only the responsibility of the Municipal Corporation, but is the duty of every citizen. If everyone together adopts the concept of “Zero Waste Bada Mangal Bhandara”, then the goal of making Lucknow clean and beautiful can be easily achieved.
