Magnus G Max gets 100+ km range in Eco mode, 33 liters of under seat storage space and LFP battery with 5 years warranty
Greaves Electric Mobility’s electric two-wheeler brand Ampere has launched its new electric scooter Ampere Magnus G Max. This scooter has been specially designed keeping in mind the daily needs of Indian families. Ampere has won eight India Book of Records titles and now through Magnus G Max, the company is giving a new option to those buying electric scooters for less than Rs 1 lakh. Its starting ex-showroom price has been kept at Rs 94,999.
Ampere Magnus G Max has been designed to make daily commuting easy and comfortable. This scooter gives a real-world range of more than 100 kilometers in Eco mode, which is considered enough for commuting in the city. It has a 3 kWh Lithium Ferro Phosphate (LFP) battery and the special thing is that the company is giving a warranty of 5 years or 75,000 kilometers on the battery.
Charging of Magnus G Max is also easy. This scooter gets charged from 20 percent to 80 percent in about 4.5 hours. It has a large under-seat storage space of 33 litres, which is one of the largest storage in this segment. This makes it quite convenient to carry everyday household items.
Talking about performance, Magnus G Max has a hub-mounted motor, which generates nominal power of 1.5 kW and peak power of 2.4 kW. Riding modes like Eco, City and Reverse are available in it. The top speed of the scooter is 65 km per hour. The 165 mm ground clearance, dual frame chassis and strong suspension make it suitable for Indian roads.
Talking about the features, it has a 3.5-inch LCD digital display, USB charging port, LED headlamp and indicators. Connected features can be optionally added via TCU. This scooter is available in attractive dual-tone colors like Monsoon Blue, Matcha Green and Cinnamon Copper.
