Bookings for Mahindra XUV 7XO have started in the Indian market with a token amount of Rs 21,000.
Mahindra XUV 7XO will be launched in the Indian market on January 5, 2026 and will be a completely updated version of the existing XUV 700. Mahindra has started booking for its XUV 7XO today and interested customers can book this SUV from 12 noon onwards by paying a booking amount of Rs 21,000. During booking, customers can also choose the engine, gearbox and authorized dealership of their choice.
The booking process can be completed through the showroom as well as Mahindra’s official online platform. The recently released teaser shows changes made to the lighting elements of the SUV, which point towards its sharper and modern design. Externally, it appears to be inspired by the
Apart from this, new dual-tone alloy wheels and new exterior color options will also be available. The SUV will get a new grille with vertical chrome slats, changed bumpers and XUV 7XO badging on the bonnet and tailgate. The teaser also indicates that it will get electrically adjustable ORVMs and a premium tan or brown themed dashboard.
Talking about the cabin, the XUV 7XO will be the first SUV in Mahindra’s ICE range to feature a triple-screen cockpit layout, as previously seen in the XEV 9S and XEV 9E electric models. It is expected to get 5G connectivity, new infotainment interface, Alexa voice support, Boss Mode, new air vents, better quality interior material, new center console and changed steering wheel.
Due to new features and design updates, the price of XUV 7XO may be slightly higher than the current XUV 700. However, no major change in its overall size is expected. Mechanically, it is likely to be offered with 2.0 liter turbo petrol mStallion and 2.2 liter mHawk diesel engines as before, which will be offered with 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox.
With a triple-screen cabin, electric boss mode, improved interiors and new features focusing on comfort, the XUV 7XO looks to be a major upgrade over the XUV 700. It has been specially designed keeping in mind those customers who want a more premium and technology-rich SUV. Apart from this, Mahindra will launch many models including new compact SUV, 5-door Thar Electric, XUV 3XO EV, Scorpio N facelift in the coming years.
