Bookings for the Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 began in India on April 10, 2026, with a token amount of Rs 10,000.
Delivery of Royal Enfield’s first electric motorcycle Flying Flea C6 has started in Bengaluru. Its ex-showroom price has been kept at Rs 2.79 lakh. At the same time, it can be purchased with Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) option at a starting price of Rs 1.99 lakh, in which the cost of the battery will have to be paid separately.
Flying Flea C6 has a 3.91 kWh battery pack and permanent-magnet synchronous motor, which produces 20.65 bhp power and 60 Nm torque. It has a belt drive system instead of chain, which reduces maintenance. This electric bike can accelerate from 0 to 60 km/h in just 3.7 seconds, while its top speed is 115 km/h. According to the company, it gives an IDC range of 154 km on a single charge.
Talking about charging, it takes 2 hours 16 minutes for the battery to charge from 0 to 100 percent. At the same time, it takes only 65 minutes to charge from 20 to 80 percent. 224 Nickel Cobalt Aluminum cells have been used in the battery and it has also got IP67 rating, due to which it remains safe from dust and water.
The chassis of the bike is based on a weld-free forged aluminum exoskeleton. Magnesium battery casing and alloy wheels have been used in it, which helps in keeping the weight low. The girder-fork suspension at the front is inspired by the original Flying Flea motorcycle of the 1940s.
Talking about the features, Flying Flea C6 has features like 3.5-inch TFT touchscreen display, full-map navigation, phone-as-key, cruise control, riding and charging modes, keyless access, electronic handlebar lock and auto hold. Wireless phone charger and USB Type-C port is also provided in its storage compartment.
For safety, it has lean-angle sensitive ABS and traction control system, which works according to the inclination of the bike. This motorcycle can also carry a pillion rider and is made available in Flea Green and Storm Black colours.
