Maruti Suzuki Victoris is available in a total of 6 trims which include mild hybrid petrol, strong hybrid petrol and CNG powertrain options.
Maruti Suzuki has increased the prices of some top-spec variants of its newly launched Victoris SUV. The company recently launched it in India and this is the first change. This hike will be applicable only on the ZXi+ (O) 6-speed manual and ZXi+ (O) six-speed automatic trims of this midsize SUV, each of which has been priced increased by Rs 15,000.
The Victoris is sold exclusively through Maruti’s regular Arena dealership network and after the update, the ex-showroom price of this SUV goes from Rs 10.50 lakh to Rs 19.99 lakh. This price increase has been made at a time when this model has just entered the market. The company is currently trying to understand the preferences and demands of the customers, so that it can make its vehicle strong and competitive in the growing SUV segment.
Apart from the change in price, the Victoris will continue to get the same features and specifications. Within a few weeks, it received over 25,000 bookings in India and is at par with the Grand Vitara in terms of price and market appeal. The Victoris is available in two engine options, including a 1.5 liter mild-hybrid petrol and a 1.5 liter strong hybrid petrol.
The deliveries of Maruti Suzuki Victoris started around Navratri. The 1.5-litre K-series petrol engine generates 103.06 PS of maximum power at 6,000 rpm and 139 Nm of peak torque at 4,300 rpm. A similar hybrid petrol engine generates 92.45 PS of power at 5,500 rpm and 122 Nm of torque between 3,800 rpm and 4,800 rpm.
Maruti Suzuki says that the standard petrol variant can deliver a mileage of up to 21 km/litre, while the hybrid eCVT setup can deliver a higher mileage of 28.65 km/litre. The CNG model has an underfloor gas tank to save boot space and this is the first such feature of the brand. The Victoris measures 4,360 mm in length, 1,795 mm in width and 1,655 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,600 mm.
The features list includes a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, ventilated seats, gesture-controlled powered tailgate, automatic climate control, 6 airbags as standard, Level 2 ADAS, 8-speaker audio with Dolby Atmos 5.1, 8-way powered driver seat, etc. are included.
