Two new premium motorcycles from BMW Motorrad and Classic Legends will be launched in the Indian market by the end of this month.
The Indian two-wheeler industry recorded sales of 2.14 crore units in FY26, a strong year-on-year (YoY) growth of 13.40%. Now that the first quarter of FY27 has started, many big auto companies are preparing to launch their new models in the Indian market. BMW Motorrad and Classic Legends are going to launch the BMW F 450 GS and BSA Scrambler 650 in India in April 2026. Let us know in detail about these two new bikes.
1. BMW F 450 GS
This twin-cylinder adventure bike from BMW will be launched in India on 23 April 2026. It will be manufactured locally by TVS Motor Company at its Hosur plant in Tamil Nadu. Its first teaser has already been released and its booking is expected to start soon. This bike was first presented at EICMA 2025.
Talking about the features, many advanced technologies will be seen in it like “X” DRL with LED headlight, USD front forks, ride modes (Rain, Road, Enduro, Enduro Pro), Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), Easy Ride Clutch (ERC), Dynamic Brake Control (DBC), 6.5-inch TFT display and ABS Pro.
Talking about the engine, it will have a 420cc twin-cylinder, water-cooled engine, which generates power of 7 bhp (8750 rpm) and torque of 43 Nm (6750 rpm). It will come with a 6-speed gearbox. Its on-road price can be around Rs 5 lakh. This bike will compete with Kawasaki Ninja 500, KTM 390 Adventure and Royal Enfield Himalayan 450.
2. BSA Scrambler 650
Classic Legends will launch BSA Scrambler 650 in India on 23rd April 2026. This will be the second BSA bike to arrive in India after the BSA Gold Star 650. This bike was first introduced in the UK in July 2025.
This bike comes with rugged and neo-retro design and weighs 218 kg. It gets 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wire-spoke wheels, raised front fender, single-piece seat, teardrop fuel tank, circular LED headlights (with optional grille) and side plates with ’65’ graphics.
Talking about the engine, it has a 652cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled petrol engine, which generates 45 hp power (6500 rpm) and 55 Nm torque (4000 rpm). It comes with a 5-speed gearbox.
