The Harley-Davidson X440 T comes with the same 440cc air and oil-cooled engine as before, but several changes have been made to it.
Hero MotoCorp and Harley-Davidson have launched the new X440 T in the Indian market, which is currently the top model of the 440cc lineup. Along with this, the company has also introduced its CVO motorcycles CVO Street Glide and CVO Road Glide in the Indian market, which are part of the 2025 lineup. The standard X440 was launched in July 2023 and was an affordable Harley-Davidson motorcycle, which attracted many new riders to the brand.
The new X440 T gets Ride-by-Wire technology, switchable traction control, switchable rear ABS and some styling updates. Thanks to the electronic throttle body, riders now get the option of two new ride modes, Road and Rain. The new rear sub-frame, new tail section and updated grab rails now improve pillion comfort. Apart from this, it also has a segment-first ‘Panic Braking Alert’ feature, in which when sudden braking is applied, all the indicators blink rapidly to warn the vehicles behind.
To make the lineup more attractive, the company has reduced the price of the standard X440 by up to Rs 25,000. The new X440 T has been priced at Rs 2,79,500, X440 S at Rs 2,54,900 and
Bookings for the new range will begin from December 7, 2025, and will be available across Harley-Davidson and Hero Premia dealerships and online channels. According to the company, a total of 72 changes have been made to the motorcycle which include tighter wiring packaging, slightly redesigned fuel tank, better tactile switchgear and an updated exhaust system with a new catalytic converter, heat shield and end-can.
In the premium CBU segment, the CVO Road Glide is priced starting at Rs 67,36,720 while the CVO Street Glide is priced at Rs 63,03,142 (ex-showroom). Both the bikes are equipped with Milwaukee-Eight VVT 121 engine which gives power of 115 HP and torque of 189 Nm. The Road Glide gets a sharknose fairing, while the Street Glide gets a new Batwing fairing.
Both models come with a 12.3-inch TFT screen, Skyline OS infotainment system, high-end audio and exclusive custom paint options. Additionally, the Softail Cruiser family has also been updated in India and the models are now available with the Milwaukee-Eight 117 engine in three versions – Classic, Custom and High Output.
